When you zoom in or out, it shows a "zoom" number at the bottom. Each number doubles the zoom, so zoom:3 is twice zoom:2, or four times zoom:1. From the entire observable universe down to a single proton is about zoom:140. Clio Infinite Paint supports that, and more!
When a whole picture has become a tiny dot, Clio protects it from stray brushstrokes. A red ring shows where your stroke was stopped. Horton might say, “A detail's a detail, no matter how small.” You have to zoom into a detailed area before you can overpaint it.
Normal screenshot: captures what's on your screen, controls and all.
Clio's Screenshot command: captures the current view without controls or sparkles, and can capture finer detail than a normal screenshot. Find it under Wrench → Screenshot, or File → Export → Screenshot on Mac.

Clio is a spare-time project. I'll do the best I can to help or add features, but no promises. lu@wischik.com
